Salary Survey Extra is a series of periodic dispatches that give added insight into the findings of our most recent Salary Survey. These posts contain previously unpublished Salary Survey data.

Non-U.S. tech pros play a big role in the Salary Survey each year. Here are some further average annual salary figures.

The end of 2020 is well within sight, as is the end of content from the 2020 Salary Survey. We're sure that many, if not most, of our readers are plenty ready to let the 2020 survey lie untroubled in its grave and move ahead to the next one. You're all about to get your wish, of course: The in-print and online debut of data the 2021 Salary Survey is just days away.

(Not even COVID-19 can prevent the Salary Survey from completing its appointed rounds.)

Picking up where we left off a couple of weeks back, our final report of data from the 2020 Salary Survey concerns the average annual salary of certified IT professionals in non-U.S. nations. In our most recent piece, we looked at the figure for certified professionals in the 10 non-U.S. nations to have the biggest presence in the survey after the No. 1 through No. 12 group (profiled earlier this year).

The same caveats that we mentioned last week apply, only to a slightly greater degree with this week's list:

Bear in mind that we're dealing with small groups here: Each of the countries you'll see represented this week and next accounted for fewer than 2 percent of all non-U.S. responses. So have a grain of salt on us to go with these figures.

For the sake of consistency, and also because it simplifies work on the calculating and reporting end of things, we ask survey participants to report their salary in U.S. dollars. So we have two sets of numbers here: the average salary in U.S. dollars, and a converted figure based on the current rate of exchange with each of the countries represented.

Take a look:
