Upcoming Veritude Webcast Explores New England's 2009 IT Hiring Trends
Boston — Feb. 19
The current economic climate has changed the hiring landscape and IT has not been immune. Recent research by Veritude revealed overall IT hiring decreased significantly between the second and fourth quarters of 2008. Despite the corresponding time frame’s resulting increase in candidates, according to the research, finding qualified IT staff remained a top challenge.
In this Webcast, Hart and McCoy will look ahead to New England’s 2009 IT hiring landscape and examine how this region fared in comparison to the rest of the nation. Webcast attendees will learn about New England’s most recent IT hiring trends, how IT staffing requirements have changed for 2009 and which IT positions and skills are in demand.
Tom Hart, executive vice president, and Jim McCoy, senior vice president of Veritude, a staffing services provider, will present a complimentary Webcast, “2009 IT Hiring Outlook in New England,” that will share Veritude’s recent research into New England’s 2009 IT hiring landscape. The Webcast will take place Wednesday, Feb. 25, at 1 p.m. EST.
