ATTO and Xyratex Provide Improved Performance in Video Environments

ATTO Technology announced its teaming effort with Xyratex to offer a high-performance, completely redundant video-production solution designed to enhance workflow and increase productivity. 

The ATTO Celerity Fibre Channel host adapter multi-pathing solution developed for Max OS X environments provides load balancing and path failover for uninterrupted access to storage media delivering a solution to meet both high-availability and high-performance requirements.  

The ATTO Celerity 4-Gb Fibre Channel Host Adapter is available for use with the Xyratex F6412E RAID storage system as a high-speed solution for 4-Gb/sec. Fibre Channel connectivity with multi-pathing support for the Mac.

The solution by ATTO with Xyratex, previously available only in enterprise-level storage solutions, provides these high-end features at a modest price for OS X environments.  ATTO’s years of digital media industry experience with high-bandwidth environments ensures that Celerity host adapters combined with Xyratex storage are tuned for optimal performance.
